Ganderbal: A 15-year-old boy was killed in a road accident after a cab hit him at Kurhama Bypass in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
According to an official, the accident occurred near Kurhama Bypass when a Sumo vehicle, bearing registration number JK05B-2966, struck a boy identified as Huzailullaha, son of Mohammad Shafi Ganie, a 12th-grade student and resident of Kurhama, Ganderbal.
The boy sustained injuries and was shifted to SKIMS Soura, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the incident, the official added.
