Sonamarg: Six persons are reported missing after the vehicle they were traveling in rolled into the Sindh River at Gagangir area in central Kashmir's Sonamarg on Sunday.
An official stated that a Tavera (max cab) vehicle with registration number JK-13B 8950 skidded off the road and plunged into the river.
“It is believed that nine persons were onboard the vehicle, of which three have been rescued, while six others remain missing,” the official said.
'The police, along with the Army's 34 Assam Rifles, Traffic Rural Police, Civil Administration, locals, SDRF, and NDRF, are jointly engaged in a rescue operation,' the official added.
