Srinagar: A couple of flights were delayed at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday morning due to low visibility amid fog. However; as per the officials, the flight operations were resumed later.
Speaking to the Media, Javed Anjum, Director Airport said: “three flights were delayed in the morning due to foggy conditions. Though we have resumed the flights now, as the visibility improved.”
As per MeT, Srinagar along with other districts including Anantnag, Pahalgam, Qazigund, Kupwara, Baramulla, Shopian, Pulwama and Budgam are continuously witnessing foggy mornings from the last few days with minimum temperature dipping to minus 1.2 degree Celsius in Kashmir capital.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological department has forcasted ‘shallow to moderate fog’ till November 27.
