Varmul, Jan 10 — A Subedar of the Indian Military died after slipping from a height during night patrolling in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Subedar Hira Lal, a resident of Akbarpur in Haryana. Officials said he slipped while on patrol duty in the Fatahgarh Sheeri area.
He was rushed to Government Medical College Baramulla in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
