Srinagar Continues To Be Colder Than Gulmarg, Pahalgam

Srinagar: Amid the cold chilling weather, Kashmir’s capital Srinagar on Tuesday recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 4.8 degree Celsius.

As per the MeT Deptt, Srinagar recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 4.8 degree Celsius.

In South Kashmir, Qazigund recorded minus 3.4 degree Celsius, Kokernag minus 2.4 degree Celsius and Pahalgam minus 4.7 degree Celsius.

In north Kashmir, Gulmarg logged a minus 3.6 degree Celsius and Kupwara minus 4.0 degree Celsius.

According to the weatherman, given the sharp decline in the minimum temperature; there is a possibility of light rains and snowfall at isolated higher reaches of Kashmir valley from December 12-15.
