Dense Fog Disrupts Visibility In Srinagar

Srinagar: As the winter chill continued, Srinagar experienced a freezing foggy morning on Monday, with temperatures plummeting to -2.3°C. 
 
According to the Meteorological Department in Srinagar, most parts of the Kashmir valley, including the capital, were shrouded in dense fog, causing low visibility and disrupting traffic.
 
In South Kashmir, Qazigund, the gateway town, reported a minimum temperature of -2.6°C, while the renowned tourist destination Pahalgam recorded a chilling -4.3°C. Kokernag registered -1.6°C.
 
North Kashmir’s Kupwara noted a minimum temperature of -3.0°C, and the world-famous skiing resort Gulmarg reported -2.6°C.
 
Meanwhile, the Jammu region experienced a milder minimum temperature of 7.3°C.
 

The Meteorological Department has predicted generally dry weather until December 26th.
