At least 43 more Palestinians were killed and 62 others injured in Israeli attacks over the last 24 hours in Gaza, taking the death toll to 33,729 people, as announced by the Health Ministry on Sunday.

In a statement, the health ministry said: “The Israeli occupation forces committed massacres against four families in the Gaza Strip, killing 43 people and injuring 62 during the past 24 hours.”

Many people are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Ignoring the International Court of Justice’s temporary ruling, Israel continues its war on the Gaza Strip where at least 33,729 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and 76,371 injured since Oct. 7. The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive.

The Israeli war on Gaza has internally displaced 85% of the territory’s population amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine, while 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, according to the UN.
