Israel has reportedly stolen organs and buried Palestinian people alive, according to the paramedics and rescue teams who found four mass graves housing nearly 400 bodies within the Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis following the withdrawal of Israeli military.
Ten of the bodies were found with bound hands while others still had medical tubes attached to them, Al Jazeera quoted a defence member saying.
Evidence of torture, disfigurement, and signs of surgical incisions was reported by the WAFA news agency.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor also reported “possible” organ theft from Palestinian corpses, following reports by medical professionals in Gaza.
“Israeli military has reportedly seized dozens of dead bodies from both Al Shifa and Indonesian hospitals in northern Gaza. However, at Nasser Hospital, authorities discovered the mutilated bodies wrapped in surgical gowns, raising suspicions that they have been buried while still alive,” it said.
Only 65 bodies have been identified by relatives of 392 recovered due to decomposition, mutilation and torture with most of the bodies stacked together.
The United Nations, the European Union, and France have all “called for an independent investigation into the mass graves.”
