Bandipora: A leopard was captured by the Wildlife Department team hours after injuring a youth on Monday in North Kashmir's Hajin area of Bandipora district.
The Wildlife Department reported that, in a prompt response to the attack, a team led by Range Officer Fida ur Rehman successfully captured the leopard.
Earlier, the Wildlife Department reported that Umar Zahoor Sofi, identified as the son of Zahoor Ahmad Sofi, sustained injuries in a leopard attack. Following the incident, he was referred to JVC Hospital, Bemina, in Srinagar.
