Amit Shah Meets Altaf Bukhari, Other Delegations In Srinagar

Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah met several delegations in R̥aj Bhavan, Srinagar including politician Apni Party Chief Altaf Bukhari, Sanjay Saraf of Lok Janshakti Party, trade union leaders, social activists, fruit growers, tourism associations and several others, as per reports by local news agencies.

The Bukhari-led delegation urged for the restoration of statehood and holding of assembly elections at the earliest and “transparent, fast recruitment, release of youths currently in jails, resolution of problems faced by fruit growers of the Kashmir valley, completion of pending projects, and raising of additional special battalions, particularly in border regions to create job opportunities, and stop youths from getting misguided.”

At least 19 delegations reached Raj Bhawan on Tuesday evening to meet Shah including Apni party headed by Syed Altaf Bukhari also arrived at the Raj Bhawan to meet the Home Minister.

A joint delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) and submitted a memorandum demanding the formation of the committee to revive businesses in the region

Other delegations include Mehraj ud Din Rather political social activist, Abrar Ahhmad President Batamaloo Trade Union, Javid Beigh, politician, Mubashir Ahmad, President Kashmir Pashmina Organization, Javed Burza (Hotelier), Sanjay Saraf LJP, Manzoor Pakhtoon, TAFI, Sameer Ahmad Baktoo president Eco Tourism, Rouf Tramboo, president Adventure Tourism Nasir Shah Chairman Tourism Alliance, All JK Transport Chairman, Ajit Singh, Bilal Parray, BJP affiliate, Farooq Renzu Shah Rtd IAS, President Fruit Growers Bashir Ahmad, Shahid Kamili President of F Chamber of Industries, Singer, Gulzar Ganie, Sheikh Ashiq president KCCI, Ayub Ahmed, Mirwaiz Central Kashmir Abdul Latif.  

He also met the two-time World Kickboxing Champion Tajamul Islam, hailing from a small village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar.
