Anantnag: Two persons have been arrested along with a ‘weapon’ and a Hand Grenade in the Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, according to the Indian military.
In a post on X, Indian military’s Chinar Corps wing said: "On specific Intelligence input, a joint operation was launched by Indian Army and J&K Police on 17 Apr at Naina, Bijbehara in Anantnag. Two suspected individuals have been apprehended along with the recovery of one Weapon, one Hand Grenade and other war-like stores.”
Further investigation is in progress, reads the post.
