Srinagar: Hundreds of 12th standard students were left in a lurch as JKBOSE authorities mistakenly provided 11th standard question papers to the 12th class students during the examination.
Examination in-charges and candidates appearing in the annual regular exams of class 12th expressed concern about the lackadaisical approach of the Board authorities.
One student stated, “Only two marks were taken from the 12th standard syllabus. The rest of the question paper of 12th standard was set from the 11th standard syllabus.”
An examination in-charge mentioned that students in the center were crying, while a couple of students even fainted due to stress.
Officials of JKBOSE postponed the exams, stating that a notification would be issued accordingly.
"We have received the information and have decided to reschedule the exams. New dates will be issued soon," the official said.
