Pulwama: A leopard was captured by the wildlife department in the Arigam area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Friday
An official said that they received a call that a leopard was roaming in the Arigam area.
"Soon after we rushed to the spot and captured the leopard alive," he said.
He also said that three black bears were captured in the Pulwama district in the last week.
Meanwhile, locals hailed the wildlife department for capturing the animal immediately as there was panic.
