Srinagar: Most places in Kashmir valley recorded above normal temperatures at night with the Metrological department forecasting a brief spell of Rain at isolated places during the next 1-2 days and humid weather for next week on Saturday.
As per details, Kashmir capital, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 19. 0°C, above-normal by 5.9 °C.
In South Kashmir, Top tourist destination of Pahalgam logged 14.0°C, above normal by 5.4°C.
While Qazigund, the gateway town of Kashmir valley, recorded 17.0°C, above normal by 5.8°C, Kokernag logged 16.2°C, above-normal by 4.4°C. Pulwama and Shopian logged 17 °C and 15°C simultaneously.
In North Kashmir; Gulmarg, world’s famous skiing resort logged 17.5°C, above normal by 8.5°C.
The mercury settled at 17.5°C in Kupwara, above normal by 6.3°C. Moreover, Bandipora logged 24°C and Baramulla 18.3°C.
While Pir Panchal region’s Banihal logged 16.4°C, Jammu recoded 23.4°C.
In Pakistan controlled Kashmir; Mirpur, Gilgit and Skardu logged 22°C, 16°C and 14.2°C.
