Several international airlines have suspended flights to Israel until October 27, citing unexpected risks of an Iran-Israel escalation.

According to reports, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), the German airline group Lufthansa, and the British budget airline EasyJet have announced the suspension of flights to Israel.

In separate statements, they said: 'As a result of the continued evolving situation in Israel, we have decided to suspend operations until October 27.'

It is pertinent to mention Israel launched a low-scale attack on central Iran’s Isfahan on Thursday night with three drones. However, no loss of life was reported.

Earlier, Iran launched a retaliation attack against Israel with more than 300 drones and missiles from Iran, Iraq and Yemen, however, the majority of them were intercepted.

Iran’s attack came after Israel launched an air strike on Iran’s Syria consulate in Damascus, killing 16 people including seven IRGC generals.
