Flights Resume At Srinagar Airport

Srinagar: Flight operations have resumed at Srinagar airport after remaining suspended for a day due to heavy snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, while Srinagar-Jammu national highway remained closed for traffic on the second consecutive day. 

Director of Srinagar Airport, Kuldeep Singh said that flight operations resumed today after a slight delay in the morning. 
 
"Several morning flights were delayed due to low visibility, but now the traffic is running smoothly," he said.  
 
Meanwhile, an official said restoration work on the Srinagar-Jammu highway was still going on and people are advised not to take any journey till it is completed. 
 
He also said train service, which remained suspended for a day on Monday has been partially resumed from Budgam to Anantnag. 
 
The official said that the train services were also resumed from Budgam to Sadura.
