Poonch: A culvert on Harni –Kasiote nallah in Mendhar area of J&K Poonch district was washed away by flash floods.
The flash floods were triggered by heavy overnight rainfall, snapping the water supply to several villages.
As per reports, heavy rainfall last night has caused the flash floods in several waterways including the Mendhar river following which the culver was washed away.
The locals demanded a concrete culvert be constructed over the (waterway) nallah so that people get permanent connectivity.
