North Kashmir: A sudden flash flood wreaked havoc in Lolab valley, North Kashmir, causing damage to the agricultural crops and orchards in multiple villages, including Gundmachar, Khurhama, and Shalagund. The flash flood has also caused significant harm to various roads in the area.
The inhabitants of the affected regions have urged authorities to evaluate the losses incurred and provide appropriate compensation to the victims.
In response, Inam-ul-Maqbool Sogam, Tehsildar of Sogam and also in-charge of Lalpora area, has informed that the concerned department has already dispatched assessment teams to gauge the ground situation following the flash floods.
The aftermath of this flash flood has left the residents grappling with substantial losses to their agricultural livelihoods and infrastructure.
