Srinagar: A youth who had been 'missing' since April 23 was found dead near the Sonwar area of Srinagar city on Sunday, according to officials.
An official stated that the youth, identified as Faizan Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Kremshora, Budgam, who had been missing along with his Toyota Glanza Tourist cab since April 23, was found dead in his cab near the rear of Paras Hospital, Sonwar, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the second such incident reported on Sunday. Earlier, the
Sopore man’s body was recovered from the Jhelum River.
