A disturbing video that allegedly captures a teacher encouraging Hindu students to physically assault fellow Muslim classmates has sparked outrage online and prompted an investigation by the Muzaffarnagar Police.
In the video, a teacher identified as Tripta Tyagi, according to some reports, can be heard instructing students to slap and thrash a young Muslim student in the classroom.
I have declared “jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai..." the teacher said on the camera encouraging Hindu students to thrash a Muslim kid in the class. It is still uncertain who recorded the video and how the conversation was captured.
The distressing footage shows one student violently assaulting another, presumed to be the Muslim student, while the latter can be seen visibly upset and in tears. The teacher's voice can be heard encouraging the students to be more forceful in their actions, stating and as caught on the camera, "Aey kya tum maar rahe ho iske.. jor se maaro naa...chalo aur kiska number hai,(What are you doing? Why are you not beating him harder)"
Another kid then came and thrashed the Muslim kid when the teachers asked him to beat on his waist too. Reports claimed the video was from Neha Public school of village Khubbapur in Muzaffarnagar. The students were seen sitting on the floor.
Meanwhile, Police swiftly responded to the viral video, announcing on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the station in-charge of Mansoorpur had been directed to conduct a thorough investigation and take appropriate action.
