Srinagar/New Delh, April 29 — Top officials from India’s security agencies are holding a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the New Delhi amid multple operations underway across in Jammu and Kashmir.
While authorities have not disclosed the exact locations or scale of the actions, sources familiar with the situation told ANI that several suspected militant hideouts are under active surveillance and engagement.
“No specific details are being shared at this point due to the sensitive nature of the operations,” one official source said, adding that intelligence inputs are being assessed in real time.
Present at the closed-door session are Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan; Director Generals of the Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles, and the National Security Guard (NSG); along with senior officers from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
