Srinagar: Reacting to Supreme Court’s Article 370 verdict, former J&K Chief Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti said that the ruling isn’t god’s verdict as the prior ruling of the SC stated that Article 370 cannot be abrogated.
“Supreme Court is not God, there were other Supreme Court judges who had ruled that article 370 cannot be abrogated. We can take this verdict as the final decision,” she said.
“We will lose our hopes, our loved ones have sacrificed their life for the Kashmir issue,” she added.
While speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Mufti said that the BJP is trying their best to led Kashmir’s regional politics down but their dream wouldn’t come true.
Labelling SCI’s judgement unconstitutional, Mufti added “Even there are previous verdicts of SCI which have stated that Article 370 wouldn’t be scrapped without the recommendation of the constituent assembly.”
“We are continuing with our fight,” she added.
