Srinagar: In a press conference held on Monday, Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari announced his party's endorsement of Sajad Gani Lone in the upcoming polls, as per the request made by the Peoples Conference president on Saturday.
"Apni Party has fielded candidates from the Srinagar and Anantnag-Rajouri constituencies. In North Kashmir, I am pleased to announce that we will be supporting Sajad Gani Lone," stated Bukhari.
It is worth noting that the National Conference (NC) has accused both the Peoples Conference and the Apni Party of being proxy teams of the BJP. When questioned about these accusations, Altaf Bukhari openly declared, "I am with New Delhi."
