‘Sheltering Militants’: Police Seizes Two Houses In North Kashmir’s Bandipora

Bandipora: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday attached (the legal term for seizure) two residential houses in Gundpora-Rampora and Chittibanday villages of north Kashmir's Bandipora district for allegedly sheltering militants. 

The house owners were identified as Abdul Majeed Reshi, father of the accused Aijaz Ahmad Reshi whose house is located at Gundpora-Rampora and Mohd Jamal Malik, father of the accused Maqsood Ahmad Malik, and located at Chittibandey area; both of the cases are registered in Police Station, Aragam.

An official said that the residencies were allegedly used to shelter militants and ‘voluntarily’ given by the members of the houses.
