Srinagar: Two militants and an army personnel was killed in an encounter (military operation) in the Padambagh area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district that raged on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday, J&K police.
J&K police identified the slain militants as Aqib Mustaq Bhat, (A catogery) a resident of Pulwama and Aijaz Ahmad Bhat( C-Category), son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat and a resident of Syedabad, Pastana- Tral.

Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar accused militant Aqib of the recent killing of a Kashmiri Pandit, Sanjay Sharma who was shot dead in his native village.
“Killed #terrorist identified as Aqib Mushtaq Bhat of #Pulwama (A category). He initially worked for HM #terror outfit, nowadays he had been working with TRF. #Killer of late Sanjay Sharma #neutralised," police tweeted while quoting ADGP.
