Poonch: J&K Police on Thursday claimed to have recovered a pistol and ammunition from the house of an accused Over Ground Worker (OGW) in the Seri Khawaja area of Pir Panchal region’s Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
GNS quoted an official saying that a joint team of Police and military launched a search operation, during which one pistol, 1 Magazine and 5 rounds of 9mm were recovered from the house an OGW identified as Ghulam Mohammad son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Seri Khwaja.
“At the time of search operation, the said OGW was not present in the house. Meanwhile police have launched manhunt to nab him.”
