Police Arrest Two OGWs In North Kashmir’s Kunzer

Srinagar- Two OGWs (Overground workers) allegedly working for TRF (The resistance front) armed group were arrested in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Tuesday.

Police identified the two accused as Khurshid Ahmad Khan, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan & Reyaz Ahmad Khan, son of Gh Mohi-ud-Din Khan, both residents of Zandpal area of Kunzer.

As per police, two AK-47 Magazines, 15 rounds of AK-47, 20 blank posters of banned LeT (TRF) & other incriminating was recovered from their possession. 

“Security forces arrested two militant associates of LeT (TRF) at Kunzer Baramulla,” a police official said.

The Resistance Front or the TRF is an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

A case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act has been registered, he added.
