Srinagar: Police have arrested ten boys for their alleged involvement in disrupting “peace” outside Jamia Masjid in Srinagar on Friday. While the police have confirmed the arrests, they have not provided specific details regarding the nature of the disruption.
In a post on [Platform X], the Srinagar Police stated, "Police in central Kashmir's Srinagar district have apprehended ten troublemakers for disrupting the tranquillity outside Jamia Masjid Srinagar on Friday."
The Post further emphasized that these individuals would face legal consequences for their actions.
The arrests come in the wake of recent developments in the region, including the release of Miwaiz Umer Farooq on Friday, who delivered his first sermon at Jamia Masjid since the abrogation of Article 370.
