A Palestinian young man succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in the city of Qalqilia, north of the occupied West Bank after he was shot by Israeli forces near the city, according to the Ministry of Health.
He has been identified as Rabi Arafah Rabi, 32.
He was critically injured by an Israeli bullet that hit him in the head and he was rushed to Darwish Nazzal Hospital in the city for medical treatment, where he died of his critical wounds a few minutes later, Wafa news agency reported.
The ministry quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli occupation soldiers manning a checkpoint near the city opened gunfire and critically injured him in the head.
