NIA attaches 3 kanal land in Pulwama under UAPA

Property in Rajpora linked to accused in militancy case, officials say

Pulwama, Apr 23 — The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday attached an immovable property measuring 3 kanals and 4 marlas in Rajpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), officials said.

The property belongs to Tanveer Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani, and was attached under Section 33(1) of the UAPA, an official said. “The property has been attached in connection with a militancy-related case,” the official said.

Wani is accused of acting as an over ground worker and providing support to militants, officials added.

According to details, the land is recorded under Khewat No. 98, Khata No. 527, and Survey No. 1678/858 at Abhama and Draklaran in Rajpora.

Further proceedings in the case are underway, officials said.
