Srinagar: The Meteorological Department's latest forecast on Sunday predicts the likelihood of rains and snow at isolated locations throughout the Kashmir Valley, with the possibility of intensifying as the week progresses.

According to Mukhtar Ahmad, the Director of the Meteorological Department, the weather on November 27 and 28 is anticipated to be generally cloudy, with light rain and snow expected at isolated spots.

"Light rain and snow are forecasted at scattered to fairly widespread locations on November 29 and 30," Ahmad added.

He noted a slight improvement in minimum temperatures across various stations in the Kashmir Valley due to cloud cover.

Additionally, Ahmad mentioned that shallow to moderate fog is expected to persist until November 28 in many areas of the Kashmir valley.
