At least 400 Palestinians were arrested on Wednesday night as Israeli Police continue to storm the Al Aqsa mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Palestinian officials, the arrested persons have been lodged at a police station in Atarot in occupied East Jerusalem.
As per reports, Israeli forces continued the raid at Al aqsa till the morning. They were seen assaulting and pushing Palestinian Muslims out of the compound and preventing them from praying. At the same time, illegal Israeli settlers were allowed in under police protection.
When Palestinians resisted, excessive force including stun grenades and tear gas was fired at the devotees.
Several others were beaten with batons and rifles.
