A one-year-old girl lost her life at a displacement camp due to extreme heat in the north-western Syrian city of Idlib, reported Anadolu Agency.
The camp, with temperatures ranging from 30-46 degrees Celsius, lacked proper thermal insulators, putting around 800,000 people at risk.
According tothe UN, approximately 1.9 million displaced individuals, mostly women and children, are living in difficult conditions in the region.
