With more than 100 Palestinians killed in the past 24 hours, the International Criminal Court chief prosecutor on Monday filed arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders.
In a statement, Hamas said the arrest warrant was seven months late and that all the officials of the Israel administration- in charge of Israel’s war on Gaza- must be arrested immediately.
Moreover, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken denounced the ICC application as “shameful.”
“We reject the prosecutor’s equivalence of Israel with Hamas. It is shameful,” Blinken said in a statement.
