Bandipora: The Bandipora-Gurez road has been closed due to fresh snowfall at the Razdan Pass, a mountainous highway spanning 84 kilometers.
Authorities stated that the closure is a precautionary measure in response to the forecast for rain/snowfall.
Despite the meteorological department forecasting dry weather, there is a possibility of wet spells in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the night temperatures logged across J&K are as follows:
Srinagar: Recorded a low of 11.0°C, which was 1.3°C above normal.
Qazigund: Recorded a minimum of 10.0°C, 1.8°C above normal.
Pahalgam: Recorded a low of 6.1°C, 1.1°C above normal.
Kokernag: Recorded a minimum of 8.6°C, 0.3°C above normal.
Kupwara: Recorded a minimum of 9.4°C, 1.0°C above normal.
Gulmarg: Recorded a minimum of 3.5°C, below normal by 0.8°C.
Jammu: Recorded a low of 22.1°C, below normal by 1.2°C.
Banihal (Pir Panchal): Recorded a low of 11.4°C.
