Srinagar: An encounter (military operation) has commenced in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, as confirmed by the police.
According to ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh, the operation was launched based on police intelligence indicating the presence of two militants in Gali Sohab village of Tuli area in Chassana.
