109 Palestinians have been killed in new Israeli attacks on Gaza as a seven-day truce expired on Friday.

Reportedly, more than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed since the Israel-Palestine war escalated on October 7.

During the seven-day truce; Israel released 240 Palestinian prisoners, most of them women and teenagers while Hamas released 105 hostages.

About 60 percent of the territory’s housing has been destroyed by the Israel’s aerial bombardment.

Nearly 80 percent of the population has been internally displaced since the war escalated with WHO saying more people in Gaza could die from disease than bombings.

WHO reports 100,000 people are suffering from acute respiratory infections and 80,000 are suffering with diarrhoea, half of those are said to be under the age of five.

The Oct 7 Hamas attack comes after Israeli forces and settlers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque during the Jewish holy festival Sukkot with Hamas citing intensified civilian killings in west bank.
