Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the road safety awareness tour 'Mission Save Lives J&K Tour 2024' from the Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the governor on Thursday.
According to a statement, the Lt Governor commended the efforts of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation in creating awareness, educating communities, and implementing measures to enhance road safety across Jammu and Kashmir.
"The 'Mission Save Lives J&K Tour 2024' will cover all districts of J&K to spread awareness about the importance of road safety and sustainable development goals," the statement read.
The LG was accompanied by the Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Chairman of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, Nasir Ali Khan, and senior officials.
