Jammu: Many political faces from JKNC (Jammu and Kashmir National Conference) including district president Kathua, Sanjeev Khajuria, joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday.
As per the official statement of BJP, these unionists joined BJP at their party’s headquarters in Jammu, where they were received by the BJP Party Chief Ravinder Raina, along with other members.
In a post on X, BJP-J&K psoted: “Big jolt to National Conference in Jammu region as top leaders of NC led by Sanjeev Khajuria alias Romi Khajuria, senior leader and District President Kathua (Rural) of National Conference who has served the NC party for the last 35 years, joined the Bhartiya Janata Party along with his district, mandal office bearers and hundreds of supporters.”
Furthermore, Ravinder Raina, along with other BJP Party members also welcomed them into their fold,” the post further added.
