Poonch: At least 14 students who were on their way to appear in the 10th class board examination, were injured in a road accident as the vehicle plunged into a gorge in Kandi village of Pir Panjal’s Poonch district on Sunday.
An official said 14 students were injured when a vehicle plunged into a gorge in Kandi village.
They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, adding that one of the injured students has been referred to GMC (Govt Medical college’s) Associated Hospital in Rajouri.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started inquest proceedings.
