Budgam: Jammu and Kashmir Police along with the government forces arrested three alleged over-Ground Workers (OGWs) at a checkpoint in the Pethkoot area of Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that the detained individuals were identified as Mohd Younis Dar, Syed Jahangir Shah, and Irfan Ahmad Wagay.
The statement reads that subsequent searches resulted in the recovery of a hand grenade, 13 AK rounds, and 09 LeT posters.
“A case, FIR No 145/23, has been filed under 13, 18, 23, 39 UAPA & 7/25 Arms Act, while an investigation into the matter is going on,” it added.
