Srinagar, April 26 —More than 63 homes across the city were raided today with Police targeting the residences of alleged Over Ground Workers (OGWs) booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) or PSA, including those already lodged in jail, according to Srinagar Police.
Of the 63 individuals whose residences were raided by Srinagar Police during the operation, the following were identified:
Furkan Farooq Mir and Faizyab Showkat Deewani, residents of Dalal Mohalla, involved in FIR No. 35/2022 under UAPA and Arms Act, PS MR Gunj.
Zubair Gull, resident of Tengpora Zoonimar, in connection with FIR No. 08/2023 under IPC, IA Act, and UAPA, PS Sangam.
Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, resident of Malik Sahib, Safakadal, linked to FIR No. 128/2010 under UAPA, PS Safakadal.
Syed Ahmad Parimoo of Mumkhan Mohalla Badamwari and Dawood Ahmad Wani of Kaw Mohalla Khanyar, both LeT associates, in FIR No. 48/2024 under UAPA and BNS, PS Khanyar.
