A delegation from Kuwait's Ministry of Education has reached Palestine to interview teachers in various subjects needed by Kuwaiti schools, including English, science, French, physics, geology, biology, chemistry, and mathematics.

As per reports, these teachers must have a university grade of good or higher and be under 45 years old.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education confirmed that it would allow Palestinian teachers to bring their spouses and children after they start work.

In 2022, Kuwait hired 400 Palestinian teachers; the fourth batch hired by the Gulf state since 2017.

Kuwait has been hiring Palestinian teachers since 2017, and the recent batch marks the fourth group employed by the Gulf state since then.

This renewed hiring initiative follows a 27-year hiatus caused by Kuwait's accusations against Palestinian Palestinians of siding with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein during the Iraqi invasion in 1990, which the Palestinians denied.
