Kashmir resident and Hizb-Ul-Mujahideen's founding commander, Bashir Ahmad Peer alias Imtiyaz Alam has been shot dead on Monday in Pakistan's Rawalpindi.

As per reports, he was shot dead on Monday evening outside a store in Rawalpindi.

Originally, he was a resident of the Babarpora area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district but was living in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi.
