At least six were killed and 53 injured after an explosion hit Istanbul’s busy Istiklal thoroughfare on Sunday.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the explosion in Istanbul’s Istiklal Street was caused by a “bomb attack.”
“Türkiye will not bow down to terrorism,” Erdogan added.
The route is usually crowded with foreign tourists.
