The never-ending impunity of world over Israel has claimed one more life as Israeli forces shot a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Tuesday, he was shot in the face during the ‘raids’ on Nablus.

He was identified as Hamza Amjad al-Ashqar, 17, and a resident of the city's Askar refugee camp.

The Israeli army said it was "checking" the details of the incident.

A Palestinian security source said that three people were arrested during the Israeli raid on the city. Separately, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that around 20 Palestinians were arrested in Burqin, near the flashpoint city of Jenin.

The fresh killing was followed by more five killings on Monday when Israeli forces killed five suspected Palestinian gunmen at the Aqabet Jabr refugee camp in the Jericho area of the Jordan Valley.

The Israeli military initially said in a statement that it had killed seven men in total, including two responsible for an ‘attempted shooting attack’ in Jericho on January 28, and five others who had engaged the army in fighting during the raid.

It also withheld the bodies of five of the men killed, including those it claimed were “members of the Hamas cell in Jericho.

However, Hamas, the Palestinian group governing the besieged Gaza Strip, did not claim any of the seven men killed as its members.

During the raid on Jericho, Israeli forces arrested Hamas leader Shaker Amara, who was recently released from prison.

Israeli forces also arrested a 48-year-old woman, Rajaa Karsou, during a raid on the Balata refugee camp in the northern occupied city of Nablus in the West Bank on Monday morning.

With the new six killings, the civilian death toll climbed to 42 since January this year, as per Wafa news agency.
