Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, will visit Turkiye to hold talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 28 July, both leaders' offices said late Thursday, reported Al Jazeera.

According to the report, Israel's PM will be received a few days after Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas.

The Palestinian leader is expected to visit Türkiye before Benjamin Netanyahu on 25 July, Türkiye said.

"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will welcome the Palestinian [Authority] President, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu in Turkiye in the course of the same week," the Turkish presidency said in a statement.

Turkiye-Palestine relations and the latest “developments” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are on the agenda, the report said.

Netanyahu's office confirmed the visit, the first by an Israeli prime minister since Ehud Olmert’s visit in 2008.
