Ramban: Islamic jurist of Sangladan (Ramban) his son, daughter-in-law among four were killed in a road accident after their vehicle skidded off the road into a deep gorge near prem temple in the Chennai area of Jammu &Kashmir's Udhampur district on Monday morning.
An official said that a vehicle was on its way from Gool Sangaldan towards Udhampur when it skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Prem Mandir in Chenani today morning.
The deceased persons were identified as Tamil Ahmad, Hajra Begum, Abdul Hamid, and Jamal Din Abdul Hamid.
Meanwhile, deputy commissioner Ramban in a tweet said: “Just in - Accident at Sarmoli. Reportedly, Mufti Abdul Hamid Saheb, Imam, Jamia Masjid Sangladan and his father, Mufti Jamal Din Saheb died on spot”.
In another tweet, he said: “All four passengers traveling in an Alto vehicle which met with an accident near Samroli, Udhampur have died. The family belonged to Sangaldan, Gool.”
