Gaza, April 19 — More than 92 Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the last 48 hours with the World Food Programme issuing an urgent warning stating that Gaza needs food immediately as hundreds of thousands of people are at risk of hunger.
Meanwhile, the head of Turkish intelligence has held discussions with a Hamas delegation seeking way out to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza amidst the Israeli blockade.
National Intelligence Organization head Ibrahim Kalin met Muhammad Darwish, the head of Hamas’s Shura Council, and his delegation.
Israel has not allowed any food, medicine or fuel into the Gaza Strip since March 2.
At least 51,065 Palestinians have been confirmed dead and 116,505 injured since Israel began its war on Gaza.
However, the death toll has been updated to more than 61,700, with the government stating that thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
