Pulwuam/Kulgom/Shupain/Tral/Wejbuar, April 26— At least five houses belonging to local militants have been reduced to rubble across South Kashmir after the Pahalgam attack, with authorities linking them to the militants involved in the attack.

Official sources said that three more homes were razed on Saturday in Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian, a day after two houses were destroyed in Tral and Bijbehara.

In Pulwama, officials said the house of Ehsan Ul Haq Sheikh in Muran was demolished late Friday night.

In Kulgam, the house of Zakir Ahmad Gania, active since 2023, was destroyed in a blast in Matalhama.

In Shopian's Chotipora area, authorities razed the home of Shahid Ahmad Kutay, who they claim has been an active militant since 2002.

On Friday, the houses of Asif Ahmad Sheikh in Tral and Adil Thoker in Bijbehara were also brought down.

Officials claimed that all five are associated with militant outfits and were directly or indirectly involved in facilitating the attack in Pahalgam.
